As a national magazine beauty editor, Nicole has worked at or written for Us Weekly, Marie Claire, In Style, Cosmopolitan, Shop Etc., Health, Self, Shape, Oprah, Seventeen, Star, Working Mother, prevention.com, makeup.com and the list goes on. With her editorial background and industry expertise, Nicole launched her The Beauty Girl blog, which organically grew into a business and platform solidifying her roles as an on-air host, expert and influencer.
Nicole has enjoyed collaborating with brands on various initiatives from on-site activations to serving as a brand ambassador to creating original video and editorial content. Highlights include hosting in-store special events for companies such as Bath & Body Works and Ann Taylor + Birchbox; working with L’Oreal Paris and Stylebistro for a how-to Red Carpet series, serving as the spokesperson for Rent The Runway on a reality style TV show; partnering with HairFood on a multi-level marketing campaign, acting as the on-camera host and Chicago blogger for an Americana-themed “States of Style” campaign with Macy’s and being chosen as a local influencer to model in the Burberry Art of the Trench campaign.
The Beauty Girl’s Beauty Bash for Moms with The Bump Club and Beyond has become a signature event that’s been held in Chicago and Austin. Other TBG events have included: Best in Beauty, Bridal Beauty and Red Lipstick Night.
Nicole hosts Live National Satellite Media Tours and regularly appears as a beauty/fashion/lifestyle expert for local and national TV segments across the US. She’s also had a stint on reality TV playing herself, The Beauty Girl, in an episode of the Style network’s Chicagolicious.
Nicole serves as a guest speaker and presenter. Examples include: speaking at the 2015 American Academy of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery conference, sharing her thoughts on how social media has changed our perception of beauty; presenting beauty and fashion trends to 120 top P&G executives at their annual global conference; serving as the event entertainment for various organizations and companies such as JUF and Saks Fifth Avenue. Her services have also been enlisted to help companies such as Social Moms entertain clients and attract new business.
