Even though my doc put me on bed rest today, I feel lucky I can say I'm not out of commission, stressing about missed work days or lost opportunities. Today I reviewed the finishing touches of the redesign of TheBeautyGirl.com (excited to show you what I've been working on the past few months), and at the same time, I didn't worry for a second about all of the events, etc. I'll have to pass on for The Beauty Girl. This sense of relief is all in thanks to my side gig with Rodan + Fields. This unexpected bedrest reinforces many of my initial reasons for saying yes to R+F in the first place. I ❤️ that I can work my biz from anywhere...including my bed!, but the most liberating, empowering part is knowing that R+F is the reason why I'll be able to gift myself a maternity leave, for the first time ever, for as long as I want.
